    Insurance

As a private pay provider operating outside of insurance networks, I assist my insurance based clients by providing them with a “superbill” which is a detailed receipt for therapy that the client can then submit to their insurance company for a potential partial reimbursement. This option works out well for my clients.

In addition, I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients facing financial challenges. I work with clients on either a weekly or biweekly basis, depending on their needs.

Here is some additional helpful information for clients who would like to use their insurance: Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.

When contacting your insurance provider, you may consider asking the following questions to better understand your benefits:

    • Does my health insurance plan include mental health coverage?
    • Is there a deductible? If so, what is the amount, and have I met it yet?
    • Are there limits on the number of sessions I can have per calendar year? If so, what is the limit?
    • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

    Payment

I accept all major credit cards except American Express as forms of payment.

    Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
