• No Surprises Act/Good Faith Estimate

In compliance with the No Surprises Act effective January 2022, all healthcare providers are required to notify clients of their federal rights and protections against “surprise billing.”

The No Surprises Act requires that we inform you orally and in writing of your federally protected rights to receive a notification when services are rendered by an out-of-network provider, whether or not a client is uninsured or if a client elects not to use their insurance.

Please see the attached notice as notification of the rights and protections:

In addition, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of the cost of services typically offered by your therapist over a 12-month period. As always, each client may decide how long they would like to participate in mental health care and we will work with you on a regular basis to determine how many sessions you may need.

If you receive a bill for services that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate (GFE), you may file a dispute.
